Founded in April 2022.

FREijA is characterized by modern designs that evoke the spirit of Japonism, featuring structural forms reminiscent of origami and arts-and-crafts, paired with unique and vivid color combinations. This blend of classic and modern elements creates a distinctive world where playfulness and delicacy coexist in harmony.

The brand name, FREijA, is inspired by Freya—the Roman goddess of love and beauty—and is said to be the origin of the word “Friday.”

The designer named the brand with the hope that wearing FREijA’s clothing will evoke a special feeling, much like the excitement and joy associated with Fridays.

ジャポニズムを感じさせるモダンデザインと、まるで子供のような純粋で無垢な視点を感じさる、

折り紙や図画工作を彷彿とさせる構造的なフォルムと、独特で鮮やかな色の組み合わせが特徴的で、

クラシックとモダンが融合し、遊び心と繊細さが共存する唯一無二の世界観を持っている。

ブランド名であるFREijA（フレイア）は、ローマ神話に登場する愛と美の女神の名前であり、

Friday（金曜日）の語源であると言われている。

「FREijAの洋服を身につけた時、まるで金曜日のような特別な気持ちになってほしい」

というデザイナーの思いから名付けられた。

Yumi began making clothes at the age of 14, mastering design, pattern-making, and sewing all through self-study.

Since then, she has been active across the fashion industry in costume design and production, as well as managing her own brand. In 2024, she expanded her reach internationally by holding a fashion show in Vancouver, Canada.

She is also active in various fields, including as a podcast host and personal stylist.

その後、衣装デザイン・製作、自身のブランド運営など、ファッション業界で幅広く活動を続け、2024年にはバンクーバー・カナダにてファッションショーを開催し、海外へも活動の幅を広げている。
