Every creation begins with a vivid inspiration.
In an instant,
it transforms into curiosity.
A single piece of fabric is cut,
assembled, and reconstructed.
What was once flat gradually becomes a three-dimensional form that embraces the body, revealing new expressions through movement.
To us,
clothing is more than just something to wear.
It is a quiet language for what words cannot express.
服づくりは、
くっきりとしたインスピレーションから始まります。
そして、
それは瞬時に「好奇心」へと生まれ変わる。
一枚の布をくり抜き、組み立て、再構築する。
平面だったものは、
やがて身体を包む立体となり、
動きの中で新しい表情を生み出します。
私たちにとって服は、
ただ身につけるためだけのものではありません。

Yumi Kajita
Designer / Founder
Yumi began making clothes at the age of 14, teaching herself every aspect of fashion design, pattern-making, and garment construction.
Through costume production and the development of her own brand, she has remained committed to two things: craftsmanship and communication.
In 2024, she participated in Vancouver Fashion Week in Canada, expanding her creative practice onto the international stage.
Today, alongside designing and creating for FREijA, she continues her work as a podcast host and personal stylist, with making and meaningful dialogue at the core of everything she does.

14歳の頃から洋服作りを始め、デザイン、パターン、縫製の全てを独学で学ぶ。
衣装製作やブランド運営を通して、一貫して向き合ってきたのは、ものづくりとコミュニケーション。
2024年には、カナダ・バンクーバーで開催されたファッションウィークに参加し、活動の場を海外へと広げる。
現在はFREijAのデザイン・制作に加え、Podcastのパーソナリティやパーソナルスタイリストとしても、ものづくりと対話を軸に活動を続けている。
