The collection theme "ZOOMING IN" explores the idea of changing perspective - zooming in on materials to examine them closely. It draws inspiration from subtle observations in everyday life.

While gazing at my favorite material one day, I found myself questioning why I felt drawn to it. In that moment, almost instinctively, I began to zoom in on the material, as if looking through a magnifying glass. Suddenly, it transformed entirely, appearing as something completely new. What I had once found appealing in its colors, patterns, and weave , now resembled a single board constructed of numerous thick rods. This shift in perspective revealed the essence and structure of the material, uncovering new allure.

In this collection, we aimed to express such shifts in perspective, delving into the inherent nature and characteristics of the materials. Our focus was on accentuating the inherent beauty and uniqueness of the materials themselves, elevating them into our own distinctive designs.Furthermore, this collection aims to discover the beauty and surprises hidden within everyday life , and incorporate them into our creations.

コレクションテーマ「ZOOMING IN」は、視点を変えて見ること＝素材を拡大して見ること、を探求しています。日常生活での些細な気づきがインスピレーションの源となっています。

 

ある時自分の好きな素材を眺めながら、なぜその素材に魅力を感じるのかという疑問が湧きました。

その時、なぜか私はまるで虫眼鏡を使って見るように、その素材を拡大して見始めたのです。

すると一変して、その素材はまったく新しいものに見えました。

色や模様、織柄などが魅力的だと思っていた素材は、突然、たくさんの太い棒で組まれた一枚の板に見えるようになりました。

このような視点の転換によって、素材の本質や構造が浮かび上がり、新たな魅力が発見されました。

 

今回のコレクションでは、このような視点の変化を表現し、素材の本来の姿や特性を探求しました。

私たちは、素材そのものの持つ美しさや個性を引き出すことに焦点を当て、それを独自のデザインに昇華させることで、新しい魅力を生み出しています。

また、このコレクションは、日常の中に潜む美しさや驚きを見つけ出し、それを私たちのクリエーションに取り込むことを目指しています。
